Entity names must be unique and distinguishable from other state-registered names. The search page can also be used to look up the details for known businesses.

1. Go to the Oregon Business Name Search Webpage
2. Search for Business Name
Enter the business name in the search field and click Search.
3. View Search Results
The search results will be displayed in a new window which shows the following information for each matching entity:
- Record Number
- Entity Type
- Entity Status
- Registry Number
- Name Status
- Name
Clicking on a Registry Number or Name of a result will open a new window with the entity’s detailed information.
